The Vision

The vision is of a future where there is collective dedication to energy conservation. This future sees a bicycle-friendly environment, where people use public transport and carpool. Renewable energy is harnessed through sources like solar and wind power. In this envisioned world there is afforestation, innovative waste reduction strategies, and a heightened awareness of energy conservation. Through a harmonious integration of technology and natural resources, this vision is of a greener, more sustainable world, driven by a profound love for Mother Earth.

About Consumer Voice

Consumer Voice (Voluntary Organisation in Interest of Consumer Education) has championed consumer education in India since 1983. It aims to empower consumers by raising awareness of their rights enabling them to make informed decisions and to advocate for their rights to be upheld in the marketplace and in legislation. It undertakes testing of products and provides independent reviews of products, financial and banking services, and more. Consumer Voice runs a legal help desk for consumers and undertakes research to enable evidence-based advocacy. We have been working on various projects to ensure that the voice of consumers is heard and their rights are protected in diverse areas such as health, environment and sustainability, road safety, tobacco intervention and digital safety, etc.

2023 Campaign

To empower consumers, including women and young girls, Consumer VOICE hosted workshops focused on energy efficiency and sustainable consumption, aiming to raise awareness and provide practical tools. These events enabled participants to make eco-friendly choices. Complemented by vibrant social media posts and articles, the campaign embraced a holistic approach to promoting sustainability. They strengthened their commitment with an Envisioning Workshop, contributing to sustainable consumption research through diverse perspectives and art. This initiative reflects Consumer VOICE’s dedication to creating a positive impact on the environment and consumer practices.
